This unit includes the following upgrades when rebuilt:

• Fluid pump is fully detailed with resurfaced pump rotor mating surfaces and machined pump body mating surfaces to maintain correct fluid pressures.
• Late style stator support shaft with updated seal rings used exclusively in all units to eliminate seal leakage.
• Installed upgraded O.E. 38-element low sprag.
• Fully remanufactured torque converter is tested for leaks, lockup, concentricity, and balance. Upgrades exceed OE requirements and eliminate the possibility of front seal leaks, premature bushing wear, and vibration.
• Boost sleeves and oversized pr valve to restore pressure and prevent converter ballooning.
• Oversized AFL valve in valve body.
• Planetary covers removed and replaced for thorough cleaning.
• Tru-Flat qualification process applied to transmission case, valve body, pump, and channel plate prevent cross leaks and pressure losses.
• Every transmission is cold-and hot-tested using a proprietary dynamometer testing program that includes fully synthetic automatic transmission fluid and a filtration system.
• Testing and flushing of TEHCMS.
• New pressure switch films.

Every remanufactured transmission we sell is backed by a Million Mile warranty up to 7 years, the best in the industry. The reason we can offer this warranty? Every transmission undergoes the same rigorous remanufacturing process:

1. Teardown and Triple Clean – Every transmission is disassembled, inspected, and cleaned three times. We also chase all threads and install all new bushings during this process.
2. Valve Body Rebuild and Test – Our most experienced team members rebuild and inspect each valve body before testing it using our C.A.R.S. testing system, which simulates real-world use and validates the valve body.
3. New O-Rings, Gaskets, and Seals – Once the valve body is tested, the transmission is reassembled with all new o-rings, gaskets, and seals.
4. Dyno Testing – Our custom dyno testing machines spin and load test every transmission to verify it’s ready for the road.

When you buy a remanufactured transmission from Powertrain Products, you’re buying a transmission that meets or exceeds OEM specifications. And we back that claim up with our available 7 Year, 1 Million Mile Warranty.
